Explore the mind behind the masterworks with Ernst van de Wetering, one of the world's foremost experts on Rembrandt and chairman of the Rembrandt Research Project, in Amsterdam. This engaging talk highlights the leaps of inspiration and insight that propelled a great artist to new achievements. Rembrandt's Portrait of Aeltje Uylenburgh and 66 other 17th-century Dutch and Flemish paintings from the Rose-Marie and Eijk van Otterloo Collection, will be on view at PEM in February 2011.

Made possible by the Lyceum Lecture Fund and ECHO.
